These Terms and Conditions govern your use of setpointhq.com and the services provided by SetpointHQ. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. About SetpointHQ
SetpointHQ is a recruitment marketing consultancy operated by Andy Pirie in the United Kingdom. References to ‘we’, ‘us’ or ‘SetpointHQ’ in these terms refer to this business.

2. Services
SetpointHQ provides recruitment marketing consultancy services including but not limited to:
- Recruitment Marketing Audits
- Workforce Engine builds — candidate acquisition infrastructure
- Employer brand and recruitment marketing strategy
- SetpointHQ Studio — AI-powered recruitment marketing tools (subscription)
- Training, mentoring and digital templates
The specific scope, deliverables, timeline and price for each engagement are agreed in writing before work commences.
3. Engagement and Payment
Services begin upon receipt of a signed proposal or written confirmation and payment of any deposit where applicable. Payment terms are stated in each proposal. Late payments may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate per the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.
For the Recruitment Marketing Audit, full payment is required prior to commencement of the audit. The beta price of £499 is subject to availability and may change without notice.
SetpointHQ Studio is sold on a monthly or annual subscription basis. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
4. Deliverables and Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, you receive a licence to use the deliverables produced by SetpointHQ for your organisation’s internal purposes. SetpointHQ retains ownership of all underlying methodologies, templates, frameworks and pre-existing intellectual property used in delivering services.
Outputs generated through SetpointHQ Studio tools belong to you. SetpointHQ retains ownership of the platform, the tools themselves, and any underlying prompts, models or methodology.
We may reference the engagement in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing.
5. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during an engagement. This obligation survives termination of the engagement for a period of two years.
6. Limitation of Liability
SetpointHQ’s total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or economic losses including loss of profit, revenue or data.
We do not guarantee specific recruitment outcomes. Results depend on factors including market conditions, your organisation’s hiring processes and candidate availability, which are outside our control.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
- Recruitment Marketing Audit — if you cancel before the audit commences, a full refund will be issued. Once the audit is underway, no refund is available.
- Workforce Engine builds — cancellation terms are set out in the individual project proposal. Fees for work completed to date are non-refundable.
- SetpointHQ Studio subscriptions — cancel any time from your account. No refunds for partial billing periods. Annual plans are non-refundable after the 14-day cooling-off period required under UK consumer law.
- Training and mentoring — cancellation terms are set out in the individual engagement proposal.
8. Website Use
You may use setpointhq.com for lawful purposes only. You must not use our website in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairment of its availability, or in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful.
We reserve the right to restrict access to parts of our website at any time without notice.
9. Accuracy of Information
We take reasonable care to ensure information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, we make no warranty as to its accuracy or completeness. Prices, availability and service details may change without notice.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version on our website at the time of your engagement will apply to that engagement.
