Why this employer, why this role, and what to say when they hesitate.

Objection handling, a counter-offer script and discovery questions, built from the spec.

The Sell Sheet is the document a good recruiter builds in their head and never writes down. Studio writes it: why this employer, why this role, the objections you will hear and the answers to them, a counter-offer script for the last week, and the discovery questions that surface a candidate's real motivation early. In agency mode it also carries the client-side objections around fee and exclusivity.

01 · How it works

What goes in, what comes out.

Input
What it works from

The job spec and the persona. Agency mode adds the client positioning.

Output
What you receive

Employer case, role case, objection handling, a counter-offer script and discovery questions, in one sheet.

02 · Why it matters

Why this exists.

Most offers that fall through were lost long before the offer. The candidate's concern about commute, or progression, or the reputation of the team, came up in week 1 and got a vague answer because nobody had prepared one. The counter-offer that lands in the final week finds a recruiter improvising.

A sell sheet written from the spec and the persona means the answers exist before the questions arrive. The employer case and the role case are in the language the persona responds to. The objections are the ones this candidate is likely to raise, not a generic list. The counter-offer script is rehearsed in advance, which is the only time a counter-offer script is any use. For agency desks, the client objections about fee and terms sit on the same sheet, because winning the desk and filling it are the same conversation.

03 · What it does

5 things this delivers.

  1. 01 The case for the employer and for the role, in the persona's language
  2. 02 Likely objections with answers, specific to this job
  3. 03 A counter-offer script for the final week
  4. 04 Discovery questions that surface motivation early
  5. 05 Agency mode adds fee and exclusivity objections for the client conversation
04 · In practice

3 ways it shows up.

Scenario 01

A consultant briefs a candidate before the second interview using the employer case and the candidate walks in already sold on the team.

Scenario 02

A candidate's current employer counters with a 10% rise. The recruiter has the script, walks through it calmly and the candidate starts as planned.

Scenario 03

An agency desk pitching a new client uses the client-side objections to pre-empt the fee conversation before it starts.

05 · Who it's for

Who this is built for.

Recruiters who lose candidates at offer stage and suspect the conversation 3 weeks earlier is where it went wrong.

06 · Common questions

Things people ask.

Is this for the candidate or the client?
Both. The candidate side covers the employer, the role, objections and counter-offers. In agency mode the same sheet adds the client-side positioning.
Where do the objections come from?
From the persona's turn-offs and the realities in the spec, such as location, salary and shift pattern. They are the objections this candidate is likely to raise.
Can I add my own?
Yes. Edit the sheet or regenerate it with feedback such as "add the relocation objection".
When should I use the discovery questions?
On the first call. They surface the motivation that decides the offer 3 weeks later.
Is it included on Solo?
Yes. All 11 playbook assets and the 3 Desk Radar tools are included on Solo at £149 a month, with a 7-day trial. Card required, cancel any time inside the window.
